Modern 19” enclosures for 3U rack mounted electronics equipment

METCASE manufactures three ranges of elegant, versatile 3U x 19” rack cases in aluminum. All three conform to DIN 41494 and IEC 60297-3 standards. 3U = 5.25" (133.35 mm).

Smart design gives you fast and easy access to your PCBs – and a choice of ventilation options. Each range offers a choice of standard options to make customization quicker and more cost effective. All cases are supplied fully assembled.

  • Combimet 3U – our bestselling range. Available in depths of 10.43", 14.37" and super deep 24". With or without ventilation slots. Top, base and rear panels are removable. Ergonomic front panel handles.
  • Unimet 3U – non-vented, standard depths of  11.02" and 14.96", for rack or desktop use. Ergonomic front handles. Separate, removable front panel.
  • Mettec 3U – non-vented, available in depths of 6.57", 10.51" and 14.44". The front panel is removable – even when the case is fitted in the rack.

Accessories include internal mounting plates, PCB mounting kits, tilt feet for desktop use and rack mounting hardware.

METCASE 3U rack cases can be supplied fully customized to suit your exact requirements. Options include custom sizes, CNC punched front panels and covers, ventilation, machining, adding fixings and inserts, painting and finishing in other colors and digital printing of logos and legends.
