METCASE Launches New RETEX Diecast Boxes

METCASE USA has unveiled its new ranges of RETEX Diecast Boxes for electronics and electrical applications in harsh industrial environments.

These tough, high quality aluminum enclosures have been designed to house a wide range of electronic components, PCB assemblies, RF components, terminal blocks, switches and much more.

RETEX Diecast Boxes come in two ranges:

• Series 5000 diecast enclosures for heavy duty electronics, especially RF applications

• Series 5500 IP65 (NEMA 4) rated diecast enclosures for industrial electronics applications.

Series 5000 and Series 5500 electronic enclosures include a tongue and groove location in the lid and base to ensure consistent alignment and sealing. The metal enclosures also have internal guide rails or screw bosses for mounting PCBs or component assemblies.

Series 5000 equipment enclosures are available in natural finish or powder painted in white or black as standard. Series 5500 housings come in natural finish or can be powder painted on demand.

METCASE can also supply both series as custom enclosures with CNC milling, drilling, painting and silk screen printing to suit design requirements.

Series 5000 enclosures come in seven sizes ranging from 1.97” x 1.97” x 1.22” to 7.56” x 4.41” x 2.40”. Prices start at $5. Series 5500 housings are available in 11 sizes from 2.52” x 2.28” x 1.38” to 8.74” x 5.71” x 3.23”. Prices start at $9.
